This
is an original recipe from the back of an I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter
Cooking and Baking sticks box.
Preheat oven to 375º

cup (2 sticks) Margarine or Butter ½
teaspoon baking soda
¾
cup firmly packed light brown sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour
¼
cup granulated sugar 1 12 oz. package semi-sweet
chocolate chips
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 large egg
In a Large Bowl - Beat together margarine with
sugars with an electric mixer or wooden spoon until smooth. Beat in vanilla,
egg and baking soda. Stir in flour until blended. Stir in chips.
Drop mixture by heaping tablespoonfuls, w inches
apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until edges are golden.
Remove cookies to wire racks and cool completely before storing.
