RECIPE: CHOW CHOW RELISH

Place in pot:
About 1 quart vinegar (enough to cover)
Sugar
Whole pickle spice

Grind:
½ bushel green tomatoes                     6 sweet red or green peppers    1 bag carrots                                                  
3 lb. onions                                          ½ tsp. pepper in ½ cup salt                                                                 vinegar and sugar
1 medium head cabbage                    

Cook all ingredients over medium heat until comes to boil. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal at once.
