RECIPE: PLUM CONSERVE

1 lb. Damson plums                                                    4 cups sugar
1 orange                                                                      1 cup walnut meats, chopped coarsely
1 lemon                                                                       1 cup golden raisins

            Cut plums into small pieces. Slice unpeeled orange and lemon into thin slices. Cook fruits and sugar over low heat until thick. Add nut meats. Pour into hot sterilized jelly glasses. Seal at once.
