1 medium head cabbage, shredded 1 shredded carrot
1 Tbsp. salt 1 chopped sweet pepper
For Syrup:
2 cups sugar 1 tsp. celery seed
1 cup white vinegar 2 tbsp. horseradish
½ cup water
Shred cabbage. Add salt and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out juice and add shredded carrot and chopped sweet pepper. Let stand while you prepare syrup.
